Hovera documentation
Guides for every Hovera app, grouped by app. Learn the platform, then find the guide for the work in front of you.
Sign in, find your way around the console, and learn the words that every app uses.
Hovera platform
The platform is the shared part of Hovera: sign-in, the console, the inbox, approvals, administration, security, and the data that every app uses.
Getting started
Sign in to the console and learn how the home page, the apps, and the menus work.
Inbox, approvals, and review
Three places collect work that waits for a person: the inbox for alerts, approvals for requests that need a second person, and the review queue for proposed changes.
Administration
Create people, give them roles, set team options, check which apps and seats are in use, watch scheduled jobs, and review the audit log.
Security
The Security page shows whether the audit trail is intact and whether the install meets its security checks.
People, partners, and costs
Shared records that the apps use: qualifications, partners, cost centres, and labour rates.
Floor plans and labels
Upload plans of your places, calibrate them, and print QR labels that open records when scanned.
Hovera Logistics
Hovera Logistics manages inventory and warehouses first, then the network of locations, purchasing, supply planning, and unit status reporting. It is built for strict roles, separa
Getting started
Learn the Today page, the working location, the scan box, and the words Logistics uses.
Daily operations
Receive, issue, return, move, adjust, and write off stock. Every form works the same way: you scan, check the lines, and submit once. The system posts to the ledger or sends the re
Stock and counts
See what stock you have, who holds it, and what changed. Check the shelf against the system with counts.
Catalogue
The catalogue holds items and the classes that control approvals and planning.
Network and map
One team manages one network of locations. See them on the map and move stock between them with shipments.
Purchasing
Raise requests for stock, order it from partners, and receive it against the order.
Supply planning
Supply planning turns the ledger into a loop: see, predict, act, and rehearse. Every figure has a reason, and every action uses the same permissions, approvals, and audit as stock
Status reports
Units, stores, and sites that do not run the full ledger report what they hold and what they urgently need. Their consumption is worked out from successive reports and deliveries.
Sustainment board and plan changes
The board shows supply by location and supply class. The plan changes feed shows what changed and why. A commercial install calls the board the Stock health board.
Setup
Set the rules and load the data. The Setup space shows only to people who manage something.
Hovera Maintenance
Hovera Maintenance keeps equipment working: a register of equipment, fault reporting, work orders, permits to work, preventive programmes, inspections, parts, readiness, and cost r
Getting started
Learn the roles, the menu, and the words Maintenance uses.
Equipment and sites
Keep the register of equipment, show it on floor plans, and record where mobile equipment is.
Issues and work orders
A problem is reported as an issue. Issues start work orders. Technicians carry out the work and managers close it.
Shop floor
Plan who does what, control dangerous work with permits, and inspect completed work.
Parts
Define the spare parts each equipment class needs, request them from the store, and see which work is at risk of waiting for parts.
Programmes and inspections
Plan preventive work, inspect equipment, and see the calendar.
Readiness and reports
See how much equipment is available and how maintenance is performing.
Warranty and recalls
Warranty holds warranty terms and claims. You need maintenance.read.
Settings and imports
Settings needs maintenance.manage. Sections: sub-statuses, downtime reasons, thresholds (Good must be above or below Bad), and work rules.
Hovera Fleet
Hovera Fleet plans and runs road transport: it turns shipments that wait for a carrier into trips, and tracks vehicles, drivers, fuel and transport cost.
Getting started with Fleet
What Fleet is, who uses it, how to read the dispatch board and what the words and statuses mean.
Transport queue and trips
How shipments become trips: the queue, planning, releasing, recurring trips, the map and vehicle swaps.
The driver
Drivers run their own trips from a phone. The driver pages need only fleet.trips.drive, which takes no licence seat. A transport officer with fleet.trips.plan can also run a trip o
Vehicles and drivers
Keep the registers of vehicles and drivers that trips use.
Fuel and chargebacks
Record fuel, import fuel card files, check them, and charge transport cost to cost centres each month.
Reports and settings
Hovera documentation.
Hovera Build
Hovera Build runs production: how a product is made, what to make and when, the work on the shop floor, quality and trace.
Getting started with Build
This topic explains what Hovera Build does, what the Production home shows, who is able to do what, and how Build works with the other apps.
Engineering
Engineering data says how a product is made: make items, bills of materials, and routings.
Production orders
A production order says what to make, how many, and by when. A defence install calls it a job order.
Material planning
Material planning (MRP) shows what to make, buy, or move so that orders and safety stock are covered, with the reason for each. Proposals wait in the review queue until someone acc
The floor
The floor is where operations are done: the station, work centres, and the andon board.
Quality and trace
A defence install says deficiency report for non-conformance report.
Reports
Build reports need build.read. Open Reports and choose a tab. Each report exports to CSV.
Settings
Open Settings at /build/settings. You need build.manage to change them. With build.read they are read only: "Changing these settings needs Build management for the whole team."
