Issue stock

Before you start

• You need inventory.issue at your working location.
• The stock must not be quarantined, expired, or frozen by a count.
• For custody items you need the party: the person or unit who receives them. A party does not sign in. Create parties in the catalogue.

Details fields

The form tells you when a party is needed: "Required: some items on this issue go into a person's or unit's custody." Otherwise the hint reads "Leave empty for items that are used up."

Steps

1. Open Issue (I).
2. Scan or pick the From storage area.
3. Scan the item in Add item.
4. Complete the line:
   • Quantity item: enter Quantity.
   • Lot item: check the Lot. The lot that expires first is suggested.
   • Serial item: scan each serial number.
5. Choose the Person or unit if the form asks for one.
6. Click Issue to person or unit, or press Ctrl+Enter.

Example: issue 2 torches (serial items, custody) to unit ALPHA-COY. Scan the area, scan the torch item, scan serials TRC-0007 and TRC-0008, choose ALPHA-COY, and submit.

Issue against a part request

When you open Issue from a Part request, the page shows "Issuing part request PR". The lines start at the quantity still needed. Dismiss the banner to post a plain issue. If the part request is at another location, the page says "PR is at CODE. Switch the working location to CODE to issue it." A closed request says it is issued or cancelled and nothing more can be issued.

Result

The system shows "Posted LOCATION · TX-000123". Custody items appear in Custody. Click Another issue or View in ledger.

If your approval policy gates the issue, the result is "Waiting for approval". See Results, approvals, and errors.
