Scenarios

A scenario runs on a copy of the data. It never changes real stock, orders, or forecasts.

Before you start

You need planning.scenarios.

Kinds

Demand change, location unavailable, lane delay, and stock loss.

Steps

  1. Open Planning, then scenarios, and create one.
  2. Pick the kind and its settings, then run it.
  3. Compare today's plan with the scenario in the results.
  4. On the map, open the scenario view. It shows "SCENARIO — name — not real data".
  5. To act, turn a proposal into a pre-position order. You must confirm it. The system re-checks it against today's stock.
