Report a problem

Before you start

You need maintenance.request (Report faults) at the place. This permission takes no licence seat. Without it the page says "You cannot report problems here: Reporting needs the Report faults permission at the place."

How to open the page

• Scan the QR label on the equipment. The page opens with that equipment already chosen.
• Or click Report a problem on the Issues list.

Steps

1. If the equipment was not chosen by a scan, answer What is it on?: A piece of equipment (the default) or A place.
2. Choose the Equipment by code or name, or choose the Place from the list ("Choose a place").
3. In What is wrong? describe the fault. It is required. The limit is 2000 characters. For example: "leaking oil under the pump, loud knocking when it starts."
4. Under Is it still running? click Yes or No, it stopped. This is optional. Click again to clear it.
5. Planners only: choose Severity (optional): Info, Minor, Major, or Critical. Other people send no severity and the system starts the issue at Minor.
6. Click Take or add photos to attach pictures. This is optional.
7. Click Send report. The button stays disabled until the description has text and you chose the equipment or place.

Result

The page shows "Thank you, it is reported" and the issue number, for example ISS-000123: "The planners at the place will pick it up." Click See the report to open the issue, or Report another to start a new report.

Rules and limits

• If you leave the page with text or photos, the system asks you to confirm.
• A report on a place cannot start a work order. A planner must link it to equipment first.
• Reporting a stopped machine raises the priority of any work that starts from it.
