Vehicle swaps

When a vehicle goes down, the system drafts a swap of the vehicle or the driver for the affected trips. A person decides. Nothing changes until someone approves.

Before you start

You need fleet.trips.replan at the place. The fleet-transport-officer starter role holds it.

Steps

  1. Open the review queue. Filter by the kind for trip swaps.
  2. Open the draft and read the proposed vehicle or driver.
  3. Approve it, edit and approve it, or reject it.

Result

An approved swap changes the trip. A rejected swap is not proposed again until its inputs change. A draft past its expiry becomes Expired.
