Partners
You need parties.read to view and parties.manage to change. The kinds are vendor, manufacturer, carrier, lab, customer, and insurer. One partner can hold several kinds. You archive a partner and never delete it. You can import partners from a file.
Cost centres
You need costs.read to view and costs.manage to change. Cost centres form a tree up to six levels deep. Assets and places are assigned to a cost centre from a date.
Labour rates
- Open Setup, then Labour rates.
- In Applies to, choose Person, Role, or Named rate.
- For a named rate, enter Rate name: lowercase letters, digits, and underscores, up to 40 characters, for example
contractor_standard. - Enter Hourly rate in the team currency, for example 85 or 85.50.
- Set Valid from. It defaults to today. A past date is allowed and earlier work keeps its earlier rate.
- Save. History lists every change, newest first.
Amounts show Hidden when you cannot see them.
If something goes wrong
