Before you start

| Operator | build.station.operate (takes no licence seat) |
| Supervisor who signs a device in, sets badges and PINs, and confirms over-production | build.stations.manage |
Stations are set up in Settings.
Sign a device in as a station (supervisor)
- Open
/build/station. A signed-out device shows "This device is not signed in as a station. A supervisor signs in with their own account and then signs the device in as a station." - Tap Supervisor sign in and sign in with your own account.
- Choose the station. Archived stations are hidden. If none appears the page says "No stations you can sign in here. Stations are set up in the Build settings."
- Confirm "Sign this device in as STATION?" It says you are signed out on this device and operators then sign on with badge and PIN. The device stays a station for 12 hours or until it is signed out.
- Tap Sign the device in.
To end it, tap the sign-out icon (Sign the station out) and confirm. "The device stops working as a station until a supervisor signs it in again." Unsaved work is named and is lost unless operators sign on first.
If station mode is off in settings, the page says "Station mode is off in the Build settings. Operators use their own accounts on this device instead."
Sign on as an operator
- In the panel Scan your badge, scan your badge into Badge. Or type your number under Or type your employee number and tap Next.
- In Enter your PIN use the keypad. A PIN has 4 to 8 digits.
- Tap Sign on.
The header then shows your name and Sign off. The sign-on lasts 15 minutes idle. Each accepted action extends it. On a failure the PIN clears and the badge stays.
If you sign off with unsaved work, the confirmation lists it. It waits until you sign on again at this station, then it is sent once.
Work as yourself
If your team does not use station mode, the queue offers Or work as yourself: "Actions are recorded under your own name. Pick the work centre you are at." If your session lapses with waiting actions, the page says "You were signed out. Not saved yet: WHAT. Sign in again (a new tab opens), then tap Try now: each is sent once, as you."
Read the queue
- Tabs for each work centre show only when the station has more than one. All shows every centre.
- To open an operation, scan its traveller into Scan a traveller (for example
PRD-000123/10), or tap its card. - The lanes are Running, Paused, Ready, and Next, with counts. Each card shows the order and sequence, a Late tag, the item, the operation, good against ordered quantity, the due date, the material state (Material ready, Kitted, Material short, Not requested, or Issued), and who is on it.
- The page refreshes every 30 seconds and after each action. Tap Refresh to reload.
- Machine chips show each machine's state.
- An open hand-over note shows as "Hand-over note from NAME:".
The scan field accepts an operation (PRD-000123/10), an order (PRD-000123), lot and serial labels, badges, and GS1 codes.
If something goes wrong

| Station mode is turned off for this team. Sign in with your own account instead. | Use your own account. |
| No connection. Try again when the station is back online. | Wait for the network. |

| That is a KIND label (LABEL), not a traveller. | Scan the traveller instead. |
| This operation is not at this station. | Open it from the right station. |
