Settings and imports

Settings

Settings needs maintenance.manage. Sections: sub-statuses, downtime reasons, thresholds (Good must be above or below Bad), and work rules.

Work ruleMeaning
Require cancel reasonA reason is needed to cancel. On by default.
PM lead days0 to 365.
Shift hours1 to 24, default 12.
Maximum defer days0 to 365, default 30.
PM grace days0 to 90.

Other rules: close approval, when issues resolve, and automatic waiting-for-parts.

Failure codes

Failure codes holds problem, cause, and remedy codes for each equipment class. A starter set is editable. You need maintenance.manage.

Import and export

Import and export edits equipment and programme assignments in a spreadsheet. You need maintenance.manage or maintenance.plans.manage.

  1. Export the data.
  2. Edit it.
  3. Run a dry run and read the differences.
  4. Apply. You can undo for 24 hours.

CSV files can be up to 10 MiB.
