Status reports

Units, stores, and sites that do not run the full ledger report what they hold and what they urgently need. Their consumption is worked out from successive reports and deliveries.

Before you start

status.report files reports. status.manage manages report lists and corrections. The reporter starter role can report and read its own row.

Steps: file a report

  1. Open Report status (a phone-first page).
  2. Add lines. Each line needs an on-hand quantity, a request, or both.
  3. Set the report time. It must be within the last 72 hours.
  4. Submit.

A location with stock mode none refuses reports. Channels are the console, mobile, CSV import, and the API.

Pages

  • Status reports: filed reports with consumption and urgent requests. A correction replaces an earlier report within 24 hours.
  • Report lists: the items each location reports. Starting lists come from report templates per location kind.

When reports are due

A unit or store reports every 24 hours and a site every 72 hours. A report is overdue at 1.5 intervals. At 2 intervals with no report, the inbox shows a status-overdue item.

CSV import

Open Status import. The columns are location_code, item_sku, on_hand, requested_quantity, requested_by, reported_at, and note. A dry run comes first. Then the commit is all or nothing.

Delivery confirmation

The destination of a dispatch can confirm delivery with line quantities and arrival time.
