Sites, scan to move, and sensors

Sites

Sites shows each site's floors with its equipment on the plans. You need maintenance.read.

  • A floor plan is a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image. SVG is refused. The limits are 40 MB and 16,000 pixels on a side.
  • Calibrate by two points and a distance, or by the overall width.
  • Equipment pins are stored in metres, so replacing the image keeps them.

Scan to move

Scan to move records where mobile equipment is. You need assets.move.

  1. Open Scan to move.
  2. Scan the equipment label.
  3. Scan the label where the equipment stands now.

If you lack the permission the page shows "You cannot move equipment".

Sensors

Sensors lists sensors, their channels, and the points they feed. You need telemetry.manage.
