Parts

Define the spare parts each equipment class needs, request them from the store, and see which work is at risk of waiting for parts.

Parts lists

Parts lists shows the spare parts for each equipment class. You need maintenance.read, maintenance.plans.manage, or maintenance.manage.

  • Part: up to 200 characters. Search the Logistics catalogue by SKU or name, or type free text when you do not use Logistics.
  • Keep at least on hand: optional. It flags low stock.
  • Notes: up to 500 characters.

Parts on a work order

Click Request from store to create a Logistics part request. The order waits until the parts are issued. See Stock views. When a serialised part is replaced, record Serial removed and Serial fitted.

Parts at risk

Parts at risk lists open and coming work that may wait for parts, ranked by downtime avoided. It proposes transfers and purchases. You need maintenance.parts.act to approve them. Proposals also appear in the review queue.
