QA inspection

QA inspection checks completed work before it is closed. A defence install calls it an inspection by a technical inspector.

Before you start

You need maintenance.workorders.inspect. You can never inspect work that you took part in.

Steps

  1. Open Work, then QA. The list shows completed work waiting for inspection.
  2. Open an item and check the work.
  3. Pass it, or reject it.
  4. A rejection needs a note: "Say what is wrong: the note goes on the issue raised." The limit is 1000 characters.

Result

A pass marks the inspection passed. A rejection reopens the work order and raises a QA issue with your note. Statuses are pending, passed, and rejected.
