Floor plans

A floor plan is an image of a floor of one place. Apps can show equipment on it.

Before you start

You need floorplans.read to view. Upload and edit need floorplans.manage. View equipment needs Hovera Maintenance and maintenance.read at the place.

Steps

  1. Open Floor plans. Plans are grouped by place.
  2. Click Upload plan and add the image.
  3. Calibrate the plan: mark two points a known distance apart, or type the real width of the image. You can also set a north direction.

Result

Each floor shows Calibrated or Needs calibration. A new image makes a new version ("version N"). An uncalibrated plan shows no positions.
