The operation screen
The status word shows Waiting, Ready, Running, Paused, Done, or Skipped. The title reads "ORDER / SEQ · NAME". Counters show Good, Scrap, Available, and Order quantity, and "On it: NAMES".
Steps
- Tap Start. If the work centre has several machines, choose one. Start is disabled while the operation is Waiting ("This operation waits for the previous one.") or while its start command is unsaved.
- Read the instructions. Tap File n or Drawing n to open them.
- For material, read "Needed X · issued Y". The note says how it is taken: "taken when you report" (backflush), "scan the lot", "scan each serial", or "kit at AREA". For lot or serial items scan the label into Scan the lot or serial label. Otherwise the screen says "Nothing to scan: material is taken when you report."
- Do each due check. Each check has a button with when it applies: "At start", "At finish", or "Every N units". A check marked "must pass before reporting" blocks the report. Fill in the form and tap Submit check. If a blocking check is open the screen says "Do the check first: NAMES."
- Report quantities (see below).
- Tap Pause if you stop. Choose why: "Why are you pausing?" Some reasons count as downtime. Tap Resume to continue.
- Tap Finish. The dialog says "Finish ORDER/SEQ?" and "You clock off and the next operation becomes ready. Report any last quantities first." Tap Finish.
Report quantities
While the operation is Running:
- Choose the tab Good or Scrap and enter the count on the keypad. Decimals are allowed only for quantity-tracked items.
- For scrap, choose a scrap reason. It is required.
- If open non-conformance reports exist, you can pick one under Belongs to a non-conformance (optional), or None.
- For lot output, enter the Lot code (blank = the default), up to 64 characters.
- For serial output, scan serials. The screen shows "Serials (n of m scanned; the rest are numbered for you)". Tap a chip to remove it.
- Tap Report. It shows "GOOD + SCRAP". It is disabled while blocked, busy, or when both counts are zero.
On the last operation the good quantity goes into stock through Logistics. Scrap above the team threshold opens a non-conformance report: "A non-conformance was opened for the scrap."
If the posting fails, the panel shows "Saved — stock posting failed, supervisor will retry". A stuck one shows Stuck — retry. A supervisor retries it on the order. "N posting(s) waiting for the warehouse or an approval."
More than ordered
The limit is the order quantity plus the allowed percentage (the item's, else the place default) less what you already reported.
- Station mode: a sheet says "More than ordered: a supervisor must confirm". A supervisor scans their badge into Supervisor badge and enters the Supervisor PIN, then taps Confirm. A supervisor already signed on scans their own badge.
- Working as yourself: with
build.stations.manageyou confirm "More than allowed (limit N). You confirm it as a supervisor; it is recorded under your name." and tap Report. Others see "More than N needs a supervisor: a supervisor reports it signed in as themselves. Your entry is kept."

Saving and retries
The chip at the top shows Saving…, then Not saved — retrying. The station resends after 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, and then every 30 seconds. Try now sends at once. Other chips: Not saved — sign on to send, Not saved — waiting for NAME to sign on, Not saved — sign in again to send. Each action uses one key, so nothing is recorded twice. Do not tap again.
